Seniors
Hi there!
You’re here because you want senior photos that go beyond the basics — ones that feel true to you.
My name’s Erika. I’m the human behind the camera, and I’ve been capturing stories like yours since I was in high school myself.
Here the backstory for ya —
My own senior photos were, well, kinda “meh”.
For one thing, I felt awkward during the photo experience, so I looked awkward in the final images.
For another thing, the photographer and I weren’t on the same page for the vision. I loved editorial portraits of models and musicians. You know, the kind you’d find in magazines.
I wanted photos like that, because that’s how I saw myself, even when no one else did.
But when the photos came back, I saw the same shy shell of a person I’d been trying to break free from.
Now that I’m the one behind the camera, I’m reclaiming that dream photo experience and delivering it to you.
So here’s my promise to you —
We’ll capture magazine-worthy photos that let the authentic, freehearted you shine through.
No awkward posing. No saying “cheese”. Nothing fake or forced.
If that sounds like a plan, then please read on.
The Experience
Have you ever had someone take a photo of you, and when you look at it afterwards, you wonder how the camera transformed you into a potato?
Believe me, I know the feeling. And to make sure it never happens to my seniors, I’ve cracked the anti-potato-photo code.
Here’s what I discovered —
The #1 way to look natural in photos is feel natural in front of the camera.
That’s why you’ll get a senior photo experience that’s more than just plopping you in a pretty place and asking you say “cheese”.
We’ll crack jokes and share stories and frolic around, because the magic lives in those candid moments.
We’ll create plenty of movement instead of forcing unnatural poses.
We’ll evoke true emotion instead of pasting on a smile.
And when your photos come back, you’ll not only have photos that feel like the real you, you’ll also have an enjoyable experience to look back on.

FAQ
-
I require a 50% retainer payment at the time of booking. This secures your spot in my calendar. The remaining 50% is due on the day of your session.
-
My typical turnaround time is 4-6 weeks, but if you book with me by September 18th, you'll receive your full gallery before September 30th!
-
The number of final images I deliver varies, but I can guarantee that you'll receive 50 per hour (30 for 30 minute sessions). These will all be professionally edited by me (both web-sized and high-res), and I'll make sure you have several options for the yearbook!
-
Straight out of the camera, photos are only "half baked". So I take every photo through a program called Lightroom to enhance the colors and lighting. I also remove any distracting objects or temporary blemishes, such as acne. I will NEVER Photoshop people's bodies in unnatural ways.
-
While print products are not included in the package price, I use a service called Pic-Time to deliver your gallery which has a professional-quality print store built in. That means you can order whatever print products you'd like directly from the gallery!
-
If the weather is truly horrendous, I will do everything in my power to get your session rescheduled before the yearbook deadline. If we can't find a time that works for the both of us (which is extremely unlikely), then I will issue a refund for your session.
-
In the event that you can't make your session, I will help you find an alternative time that works for both of us. If you need to cancel altogether, barring an act of God, the 50% retainer is non-refundable but may be used for future photography services if you change your mind.
